Made the paper myself from cotton scraps. Wanted something that could tear, that wasn't permanent. Amy was about the voice, not the image, but the image is what remains.

Silkscreen on handmade paper

The beehive is architecture, armor, burden. Kept it black and raw because color would make it nostalgic, and she wasn't about looking back.

The paper shows through because transparency matters - she couldn't hide anything, that was her gift and curse. One pull on the screen, that's it. No editions. Some things shouldn't be repeated.
