The candy colors came from thinking about how surveillance gets packaged as safety, as fun, as social media. We're watching each other constantly but we've made it feel like a party.

The halftone dots are important - they're the space between seeing clearly and just getting an impression. Every eye is incomplete, breaking apart if you look too close. That's how surveillance works - it sees everything and understands nothing.
